Contribution Inside And Out

IIS with its every attempt to make the kids as the growing saplings of the future world, determined to train them to save the planet as well. It is not just another thing but as an equal priority of their lives. In other words, IIS is generating green as well as greener generation.

Sustaining Resources

IIS has pledged to become energy independent in the near future as the technology becomes available to do so. The solar power generation is going to be first step in that aim. The campus already has low power consuming electric consumables such as LED lighting.

“We are using resources as if we had two planets, not one. There can be no ‘plan B’ because there is no ‘planet B’.” - Ban Ki-moon

Waste Recycling

IIS has a strict policy to use the decomposable waste such as food waste for making natural manure and to use in its own garden in campus. Water recycling methods are to be employed in consultation from relevant specialists.

“Sooner or later, we will have to recognize that the Earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. What mankind must know is that human beings cannot live without Mother Earth, but the planet can live without humans.” - Evo Morales

Clean Campus

IIS would keep the campus clean by allowing no plastic inside the premises. To achieve the Green school concept the campus would be nurturing as much as plants and grass. It would be a litter-free campus in addition to being plastic-free. Moreover, the green campus would lessen the pollution in air and the kids would have a great time in playing in the garden that is as clean as possible. Sparrows are welcome!!

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever was.” - Margaret Mead
